Build Up To A Launch – Examples of Content Marketing For An Event

Content Marketing

This has been a huge month for Right Mix Marketing! With the upcoming launch of the Business Blogging Telesummit, I’ve been using Content Marketing as one of the major marketing vehicles for this event. To that end, I’ve been busy with guest posts, interviewing and even a little photography and videography. I hope you enjoy the content but also look at these examples to give you ideas if you’re also promoting an event, product or service.

Here are the highlights of the content marketing effort and some notable places the company has been featured online.

“Darwin’s Rules of Blogging” Guest Post on Problogger

In late November, I was honored to write my first guest post for ProBlogger. This post got a great response and the commenters added some points and perspective that I hadn’t thought of. That’s the beauty of social media engagement – you’re always getting better information (if you pay attention)!

Peter Shankman Blog World Keynote Post

I made a last minute trip to Blog World LA and decided to put on my reporter hat, write some articles, take some pictures and shoot some video. Wow, that was a good idea! Not only did the Blog World posts, pictures and video of Chris Brogan, Jay Baer, Guy Kawasaki, Mari Smith, Amber Naslund and others get a lot of attention, but the event allowed me to connect with a lot of great people in person including Marcus Sheridan, Denise Wakeman, Joe Pulizzi, Chris Garrett, Mack Collier and Ali Luke.
